| OPEN REHEARSALS |
| Twenty superb young musicians, two days, three open rehearsals, one concert. The Galway Jazz Festival Youth Orchestra has been specially formed for the weekend. The Benny Lackner Trio, Roberto Magris and other festival guests help them prepare for their Sunday concert. These open rehearsals are designed to allow interested musicians and listeners to watch the process of preparing Big Band charts for performance. The repertoire will include Basie, Ellington and two charts written by Italian pianist Roberto Magris. |
